Don't Sleep on This

Jesus is coming back. The question isn’t whether we can figure out exactly when—the question is whether we’ll be ready.

In Mark 13, Jesus speaks honestly about difficult days ahead: deception, conflict, persecution and tribulation. But His message isn’t meant to leave His followers frightened. Again and again, He gives them the same instruction:

Watch. Be alert. Stay ready.

And while we wait, we have work to do.

We share the love of Jesus.

We love one another.

We look for lost and hurting people.

We serve.

We make disciples.

We don’t know the day or the hour, but we know the One who is coming.

So don’t get distracted by arguments. Don’t live in fear. And whatever you do…
